Tuesday, December 24, 2024 — A fresh coating to three inches of snow fell late Monday and very early Tuesday to give the ground some added cover to support a White Christmas across western New York.

That’s the second longest stretch of at least six inches of snow on the ground in 15 years, behind 2021 when that much snow was on the ground for 13 days.
