Ralph was born in Billings on Feb. 13, 1931, to Conrad and Amelia (Kessel) Kaufman. He attended school in Billings. Ralph was baptized and confirmed at the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Billings.

Ralph A. “Bub” Kaufman, 84, of Chester, died Aug. 5 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland. Born in King and Queen County, Va., he resided in Woodstown, N.J. before moving to Chester.
