Filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson has been keeping a bit of a low profile over the past few years, and so it would seem has his next movie Phantom Thread which is due for a limited release this year.

Anderson’s new film, Phantom Thread, which hits theaters at Christmas ... and forbidding genius modeled after (among many others) the Spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga.

Focus Features has debuted the first trailer and poster for Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming Phantom Thread, the film that will be Daniel Day-Lewis’ final movie before his retirement.
