Jacket is beginning the new year with the announcement of their eagerly awaited new album. The announcement is heralded by the premiere of the ravishing lead single, “Time Waited,” available everywhere now.

The band dropped the impressionistic Danny Clinch-directed video for the first single, "Time Waited," on Wednesday (Jan. 15).

Jacket has been one of the most consistent rock bands of the past quarter-century, although there’s been a bit of a wait since their most recent album, 2021’s My Morning Jacket (excluding their 2023 holiday album Happy Holiday!
