Israeli forces bombed a UN clinic in Gaza serving as a shelter for displaced Palestinians on Wednesday, killing at least 22 people just days after officials discovered 15 first responders who had been executed by Israeli soldiers and buried in a mass grave in Gaza.

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Palestinians held funerals Monday for 15 medics and emergency responders killed by Israeli troops in southern Gaza, after their bodies and mangled ambulances were found buried in an impromptu mass grave, apparently plowed over by Israeli military bulldozers.

UN officials and humanitarian agencies denounce the killing of medics as a breach of international law and human dignity.

The U.N. food agency is closing all of its bakeries in the Gaza Strip. That's according to an internal memo that circulated among aid groups on Tuesday.

The past month's total blockade has forced the World Food Program to prioritize giving its dwindling stock to starving Palestinians who need emergency food aid.

One month since Israel closed all crossings to Gaza for goods, all UN-supported bakeries have closed, markets are empty of most fresh vegetables and hospitals are rationing painkillers and antibiotics.
