In a make-up game delayed from the night of Monday, May 19, due to inclement weather, the Guardians and Twins resumed the same game on Wednesday. As the bad weather persisted into Tuesday, that game was also rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon and started just 30 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game.
The Twins finally overcome the dark magic of the Guardians in a walkoff win, powered by the wonderful, magnificent Kody Clemens.
Cleveland mounted its comeback trailing by three in the ninth. José Ramírez belted a leadoff double off the wall in right center, extending his hitting streak to 13 games. Ramírez moved to third on a fielder‘s choice ground out by Carlos Santana and scored on a Nolan Jones RBI single to left off Duran.
