VINNÉ, SLOVAKIA—The Slovak Spectator reports that Viniansky Castle’s main gate has been found. The ruined castle, located in eastern Slovakia, sat on a hill overlooking the trade route to Poland.

Archaeologists carrying out a dig at Rochester Castle Gardens have uncovered part of a medieval gate. A team are at the main entrance today chipping away to get a glimpse of the historic structure.
