Five years after McDonald’s pulled its chicken tenders off the menu, the McCrispy Strips are making a comeback. Starting May 5, fans of the fast-food chain will be able to get their hands on the fried white meat tenders with black pepper.

Guests will be able to enjoy the juicy strips with the all-new Creamy Chili Dip, which has a savory, sweet, and even tangy blend that’s sure to be a burst of flavor. The Creamy Chili Dip is joining McDonald’s lineup of signature sauces, including Tangy Barbecue, Spicy Buffalo, Creamy Ranch, Honey Mustard, Honey, and Sweet ‘N Sour Sauce.

Customers can get their first bites of the new McCrispy Strips on May 5 at participating restaurants nationwide, marking McDonald’s first new permanent menu item in four years. The finger food, made with white meat chicken and a crispy coating, comes with a new creamy chili sauce for dipping, according to an April 24 news release.
