On Monday, the Marine Corps League hosted its 82nd Annual Memorial Day Service. It took place at the Mount Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Today, there are more than 70,000 Marine Corps League members nationwide and more than 1,000 local detachments, including league 1250, founded in Loveland by Martinez and Tom Buchanan in 2006.
