Celery sticks sold at Walmart in Ohio, Pennsylvania recalled for possible listeria
More than 1,500 four-pack celery stick cases made by Duda Farm Fresh Foods are being recalled due to a possible listeria contamination. Those getting recalled have a best if used by date 03/23/2025 label. These ready-to-eat Marketside Celery sticks were sold at Walmart stores including locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Only one of the victims, however, had listeria monocytogenes reported as the cause of death. All five cases had underlying immunocompromising health conditions and were hospitalised.
