TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Leon High School student was arrested Monday after being accused of assaulting a teacher over school policy, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.

A 17-year-old Rickards High School student was arrested and charged with battery on a school official on Wednesday, May 7.

According to the Leon County Sheriff's Office, the student was instructed to leave the area by a school staff member. The student refused, blocking the doorway.
