Jack Pyburn likes to celebrate after he makes a stop, so when he sacked quarterback Garrett Nussmeier on the last play of the day for LSU’s starters, he danced. The transfer defensive end raised his arms above his head, encouraged by linebacker West Weeks, and a frustrated Nussmeier tossed the ball back toward the middle of the field.

Fans will get their first look at the 2025 LSU football team, albeit in a less conventional way Saturday morning. The team will conduct an open practice and scrimmage inside Tiger Stadium with things officially starting around 10:30 before the scrimmage kicks off at 11 a.

This year’s event takes the place of the annual spring game. There will be no television coverage or radio broadcast of the event. Fans are invited to watch the Tigers practice
