Guttate psoriasis is the second-most common type of psoriasis, after plaque psoriasis. About 10 percent of people who get psoriasis develop guttate psoriasis, according to the NPF .
Guttate psoriasis mainly affects the trunk and proximal extremities, but may be generalized in distribution. Lesions may affect the face, ears, and scalp, but the palms and soles are rarely involved.
