Lewis Hamilton won the first Sprint Race of his career in a wire-to-wire performance on his second weekend with Ferrari. At Mercedes, Sprints were never Hamilton’s strong suit, never securing a pole or recording a win in the four years he drove for the Silver Arrows during F1’s Sprint era.

Lewis Hamilton won the first sprint race of the 2025 Formula One season, his first victory with Ferrari since joining the team over the winter. Meanwhile, Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen finished second and third at the Shanghai International Circuit.
