Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott and Jerry Jones were among the Dallas Cowboys reacting to Shedeur Sanders' epic NFL Draft slide, which finally ended in Saturday's fifth round.

The draft may have not gone according to Sanders' plan but he has since gotten some encouragement from a veteran quarterback who has been in his shoes. Cowboys' play caller Dak Prescott spoke to Clarence Hill of DLLS Sports, offering some words of encouragement for him.

Former Trinity Christian Academy-Cedar Hill star Shedeur Sanders was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the 144th overall pick in the Round 5 of the 2025 NFL draft. Sanders, whose father is Pro Football Hall of Famer and current Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, made waves when he wasn’t selected on either of the draft’s first two days.
