The maker of Chips Ahoy cookies is suing a discount grocery store chain, claiming it "blatantly" copied its chocolate chip cookie and other snack packaging to "deceive and confuse" customers.

Snack brand giant Mondelez is suing grocery chain Aldi, alleging that the grocer’s store-brand snacks “blatantly” copied Mondelez packaging.

Mondelez International, a corporate giant behind the name-brand versions of many snacks, contends that Aldi is mimicking its packaging to dupe customers.
