Five people were rescued from dangerous flooding conditions by the U.S. Coast Guard in Rosburg, Washington on Tuesday. Rosburg is approximately 100 miles northwest of Portland.
They were all reported to be in stable condition, the Coast Guard said. According to the National Weather Service, Grays River near Rosburg reached major flooding status Tuesday at 16.24 feet.
