A Winlock man accused of pointing a realistic-looking BB gun at a man who told him to leave his property on July 10, 2024, has been charged with second-degree assault in Lewis County Superior Court.

"Mendez Berry was holding what deputies believed to be a firearm," the DOJ said. But it was later determined the man was holding a BB gun.
