I started playing the french horn when I was 14. Before that I played the E flat horn in a brass band.

Fitzgibbon also plays in the Jackson Community Concert Band and Jackson Youth Symphony, and has been the first-chair French horn player in the Jackson County Honors Band two years in a row.
