Just a day after making some high-profile cuts to its network, Alaska Airlines is out with a big expansion in San Diego.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members earn miles based on the mileage between origin and destination cities. Members earn 1 mile per mile flown or a total of 500 miles, whichever is greater.
