Two construction workers were killed Wednesday when a large crane collapsed at the site of a new Cape Canaveral hospital on Florida’s Merritt Island, according to officials.

The worker, a 43-year-old man, was trapped under the fallen roof in an extension behind a former restaurant in Brooklyn, the Buildings Department said.
