The 49ers had a hole at defensive tackle after releasing former prized free agent signee Javon Hargrave over the offseason.

The San Francisco 49ers have signed DL Alfred Collins to a four-year deal. With the signing, the 49ers now have all 11 of the team’s 2025 draft picks under contract.

Up until Wednesday night, just two of the 32 second-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft were under contract as rookies began reporting to training camps. However, a major domino seems to have fallen that could open the floodgates for those second rounders to put pen to paper.
