Charlie Woods is in the hunt at another top amateur golf tournament just over a week after picking up his first major junior victory. Woods, a rising junior at the Benjamin School and the son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods,

Tiger Woods joined the gallery for the first round of the Amateur Championship as his son Charlie tackled the famed BallenIsles South Course. Woods, who ruptured his left Achilles tendon and underwent surgery in March, followed his son's group from a golf cart. He did not appear to be wearing a cast or boot on his left leg.

Charlie Woods made his TV debut at age 11 in the PNC Championship, the tournament that pairs major champions with a family member. He has grown and matured since then. He won his first big golf tournament last week and the 16-year-old son of Tiger Woods is getting plenty of attention.
