The Sandman Season 2 introduced a horde of great new characters, including Delirium (Esme Creed-Miles), the youngest of the Endless who was previously known as Delight. The second season of The Sandman constantly keeps this lingering mystery alive without giving much explanation as to why Delirium stopped being Delight.
The Sandman wrapped up with the final set of episodes for the second season. To the despair of fans, Netflix had previously announced that the show would not be returning for a third season.
