An FBI employee is accused of having multiple videos of children being sexually assaulted, Texas police said. Brian Rausch, an analyst with the FBI in Houston, was arrested May 27 and his home was searched, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Precinct 3 said in a news release.

An 18-year-old identified as Ava Moore was fatally struck by a jet ski while kayaking on Grapevine Lake in Texas on Sunday, May 25, Texas Game Wardens said in a news release. The Grapevine Police Department has released a photograph of the female suspect who allegedly fled the scene amid their investigation.

Authorities say an 18-year-old woman about to begin her first year at the U.S. Air Force Academy was killed when a personal watercraft hit her kayak on a Texas lake over Memorial Day weekend.

A historic marker in downtown Dallas acknowledging the site of a 1910 lynching was damaged last week. Edward Gray, president of the Dallas County Justice Initiative, which oversaw the marker’s creation, told KERA the signage on the marker was removed and cut in half.

Police are searching for suspects after a man was gunned down in front of his family outside a restaurant, Texas authorities said. The fatal shooting happened at about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, on San Antonio’s northwest side, police said in a news release.

After years of a “complex and thorough” investigation, Arlington homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Darnell Jones II on a murder charge, police said. With the assistance of local police, Jones was found in Chicago on Sunday and taken into custody without incident.
