Robert Williams III's name is in trade rumors as the Trail Blazers are looking to get assets for the former Celtics big man.

The Houston Rockets are just over two weeks from the trade deadline and they are mulling over options to acquire some pieces to help the puzzle feel more complete. And the Rockets may look towards the pacific northwest in order to do that.

Four Western Conference rivals are all monitoring the trade status of Portland Trail Blazers big man Robert Williams III.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, who are 34-6 after Thursday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, are interested in trading for Brooklyn Nets forward Cam Johnson, according to The Athletic's Joe Vardon: Executives from three franchises told The Athletic that Cleveland has expressed interest in acquiring 6-foot-8 forward Cam Johnson from the Brooklyn Nets — one of the most coveted players league-wide in the trade market — with the Feb.

It’s NBA trade season, and there’s likely to be smoke, fire and misdirection, so as always, take rumors with a grain of salt, but according to a recent report, the Rockets have been chatting with the Portland Trail Blazers about a potential deal centered around big man Robert Williams.
