Rumors surrounding a native PS5 port for Rockstar Games‘ critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption 2 have popped up once again. This time, it comes alongside claims of a Nintendo Switch 2 version reportedly releasing this year.

Now, a new rumour claims Rockstar is currently developing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as a patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to enhance the open worlder for current hardware. This is according to "sources close to Rockstar" speaking to outlets Game Reactor and Nintenduo.

Rockstar's Western epic will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, according to several sources, alongside a next gen patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
