The Cowboys have been listed as a potential landing spot for Hampton at No. 12, so Broncos Wire asked KD Drummond of Cowboys Wire what he believes the percentage chance is for the Cowboys to use their first pick on a running back.

Basically, the Broncos have options and it won't be surprising if they decide to trade up. During a pre-draft press conference on April 17, Denver general manager George Paton admitted that he was already making calls about a possible trade, although at the time, he didn't admit if he was looking to move up or down.

The Denver Broncos are approaching the 2025 NFL draft with seven total selections, including the 20th overall pick in the first round. The last five players picked 20th overall in previous drafts were guard Troy Fautanu, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, quarterback Kenny Pickett, wide receiver Kadarius Toney and defensive lineman K'Lavon Chaisson.
