SAN FRANCISCO – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced today at NBA All-Star Weekend 2025 the selection of 17 Finalists from the following committees: North American, Women’s, Men’s Veterans, Women’s Veterans, International, and Contributors.

Baltimore's Carmelo Anthony, who played 19 years in the National Basketball Association, is a Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame finalist.

Sue Bird, the former Storm star and now part owner who is one of the most decorated players of all time, was named a finalist for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

George Blaha, Clark Kellogg, Michelle Smith and Adrian Wojnarowski named recipients of Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2025 Curt Gowdy Media Award.

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame named its finalists for the class of 2025 on Friday. As a reminder, the Hall is not limited to figures from the NBA, but rather, encompasses the entire sport of basketball.
