Loretta Swit, who won two Emmy Awards playing Major Margaret Houlihan on the pioneering hit TV series “M.A.S.H.,” has died. She was 87.

Loretta Swit, who played Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on all 251 episodes of the classic dramedy 'M*A*S*H,' died May 30 at her NYC home. She was 87.

The two-time Emmy winner played head nurse Maj. Margaret Houlihan in the long-running CBS series set during the Korean War.
