The late One Direction star — who rose to fame with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson as teens on The X Factor in 2010 — brought his experience full circle as a judge on Netflix’s Building the Band. Filming for the singing competition wrapped shortly before he died after falling from a hotel balcony in October 2024.
