Los Angeles rapper Lefty Gunplay along with two other men were arrested during a traffic stop this past Sunday, Feb. 23, in East Central El Paso, according to El Paso Police. Franklin Scott Holladay,

Lefty Gunplay, the Los Angeles-based rapper known for his feature on Kendrick Lamar’s GNX track “TV Off,” was arrested in El Paso, Texas, on Feb. 24.

Rapper Lefty Gunplay, best known for his appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s GNX single “tv off,” has been hit with multiple charges following an arrest in El Paso, TX. The rapper, who was in town to host and perform at a party at Friends Sports Bar & Kitchen, was apprehended by local law enforcement and subsequently detained.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his detained are not yet known. But El Paso’s jail records list Lefty Gunplay was arrested on three charges; not wearing a seat belt, possessing a prohibited item in a correctional facility and possession of a controlled substance.
