President Donald Trump toured the devastation from catastrophic flooding in Texas amid mounting criticism that officials failed to warn residents quickly enough that a deadly wall of water was coming their way.

Joined by First Lady Melania Trump and officials, Trump surveyed devastation and met with victims' families and emergency responders.

As ominous storm clouds gather once more over Texas, the desperate search for more than 150 individuals still missing since the catastrophic July 4 floods has now stretched into its second week.

The threat of heavy rain is “slight” for this weekend, but with the ground fully saturated in Kerr County even small amounts of rainfall could cause flooding.
