Kazuchika Okada will have the opportunity to defend his Continental Championship later tonight at AEW Worlds End. The finish of the match saw Okada hit Ricochet with the Rainmaker to score the pinfall victory.

AEW played it safe at Worlds End while also taking some big swings toward 2025. No championships changed hands at the company’s final pay-per-view of 2024 and it gave us a lackluster end to the MJF and Adam Cole story at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando on Saturday.

For the last month, AEW programming has been dominated by the Continental Classic: a round-robin tournament to decide the fate of the AEW Continental Championship. The current champion, Kazuchika Okada, advanced to the semifinals this past week on Wednesday Night “Dynamite.”
