Ten communities throughout the state of Alabama are joining a nationwide protest effort on July 17 in response to recent ICE raids and health care cuts carried out by the Trump administration. The event has been dubbed the “Good Trouble Lives On” national day of action in honor of civil rights leader and Alabama native Congressman John Lewis,
The protests are part of a nationally organized event timed to mark the fifth anniversary of the death of Rep. John Lewis.
