Much to the chagrin of Jacksonville Jaguars' fans, owner Shad Khan gave maligned general manager Trent Baalke another chance to lead another coaching search.

Baalke was officially retained by Jaguars owner Shad Khan on Monday, the same day Khan made the decision to fire head coach Doug Pederson. As things stand today, Baalke appears primed to play a key role in the future of the franchise.

Until the Jaguars let go of their half measures with leadership, they’ll never be serious about winning football.
