Thousands of protesters marched in Chicago against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in their city and President Trump’s deployment of troops in Los Angeles.

Similar protests are set to kick off in more than 1,000 cities across the country on Saturday. The rallies are intended to counter the military parade President Donald Trump has planned to mark the U.

At 4 p.m. as protesters were gathering, a counterprotester came to the scene — prompting angry chants to erupt from the main protest.
