The Palestinians were reportedly killed in the Rafah area of Gaza early Tuesday, with the IDF saying it had fired shots near an aid distribution site after individuals moved towards its forces in a way that "posed a threat to them".

The Hamas-run health ministry says more than a hundred people were injured in the attack. The aid distributor said the reports were "false".

At least 26 Palestinians were killed and at least 175 were wounded while they were on their way to retrieve food in the Gaza Strip, according to health officials and witnesses.
