As the Section III girls basketball season hurtles towards its final weeks, the top teams in each class are starting to separate and everyone is on the hunt for a good seed in the playoffs. Girls basketball rankings will be revealed on Tuesdays until the end of sectionals.

Check out the Saginaw-area teams that are trending up, along with rankings, records and upcoming games. Frankenmuth has won nine consecutive games, but the biggest ones came in the past week with the Eagles topping two of the top teams in the state.
