AS Roma have announced the appointment of former Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who signed a three-year deal with the Giallorossi until the summer 2028. Gasperini, who coached Atalanta from 2016 to 2025,

Gian Piero Gasperini has been named Roma’s new coach, taking over for the retiring Claudio Ranieri following his own successful run at Atalanta.

In Gasperini, Roma has hired one of the most successful managers in Serie A over the last decade. Gasperini leaves Atalanta after a nine year run where he transformed the Bergamo based club from a yo-yo club who often toiled in lower half of the table into a perennial top four contender.
