Gavin Williams held the Angels hitless through five innings and José Ramírez launched his 11th home run for the Guardians.

Following the game, Guardians manager Stephen Vogt spoke highly of starting pitcher Gavin Williams, showering him with a superlative that made waves throughout the Cleveland media room. "I think that's the best I've ever seen Gavin look," Vogt said after the game.
