The average fuel price in state slightly rose about 1 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices across the state in the last year have been as low as $2.51 on Dec. 16, 2024, and as high as $3.11 on July 29, 2024. A year ago, the average gas price in Texas was 10% higher at $3.03 per gallon.

Here's a look at how weekly regional gas prices changed in Lower Atlantic last week compared with the week prior.

The average fuel price in the Midwest region is about the same price as a month earlier. According to the EIA, gas prices across the region in the last year have been as low as $2.81 on Dec. 9, 2024, and as high as $3.48 on July 29, 2024.
