Other restaurants offered promotions for multiple days, including James Provisions in Hurst, which donated 10% of their July 9 and 10 proceeds to Austin Pets Alive and $1,000 to the Flood Relief Fund. Austin Pets Alive has provided shelter and reunification services for animals affected by the floods.

Texas country singer Pat Green, who lost four family members in the July 4 flood, will host an online concert on Wednesday to benefit relief efforts.

The mother of an 8-year-old girl who died during catastrophic flooding at Camp Mystic in Texas received something “very special” after her death. In one of two letters written to her mother, Blakely McCroy said she was having an “amazing” time at Camp Mystic, according to People.

A flood watch remains in effect in Tarrant, Collins, Dallas, Denton and surrounding counties through 7 p.m. Sunday. Isolated watch areas may have up to 6 inches of rain, according to the weather service.

There is a slight chance, about 15%, that rainfall will exceed flash flood guidance with some isolated areas possibly getting up to 7 inches of rain.

On Monday at 8:28 a.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued a flood warning in effect until 10:15 a.m. The warning is for Johnson, Bosque, Hamilton, Hill and Somervell counties.
