Ferrari's latest supercar, the gas-electric hybrid F80, is company’s most powerful road car ever. Only 799 will be built.

Ferrari on Thursday unveiled its new limited edition supercar, which incorporates features from Endurance motor competitions and Formula 1 and has already sold out despite its 3.6 million euro ($3.9 million) base price tag.

Ferrari has just unveiled the F80, its sixth halo car. The follow-up to LaFerrari has a hybrid-assisted V-6 that makes over 1,000 hp.

In 2013, McLaren, Ferrari, and Porsche all had the same idea, to build the world’s highest-performing supercar with the latest hybrid technology. Now, 11 years later, we get to see round two (though Porsche seems to be sitting this one out).
