The Federal Trade Commission has filed a lawsuit against Uber, alleging the company used deceptive practices to market and manage its Uber One subscription service.

The complaint is the first FTC action against a major tech company since President Donald Trump began his second term in January.

The agency accuses the ridesharing company of charging customers without consent and of making it difficult to cancel the service.
