Employees with King Soopers were up early Thursday morning to get on the picket line and go on strike after a series of issues they said they want addressed by the large grocery chain.

Union members took to the picket lines Thursday in a two-week strike against King Soopers stores across the Denver area and in Boulder and Louisville.

With a strike set to start, King Soopers has released adjusted hours for some grocery stores in Colorado. Union workers plan to begin a two-week strike on Thursday morning across the Denver metro area.
