Legend pick Clayton Kershaw headlines MLB All Star pitchers
Digest more
Clayton Kershaw is at the All-Star Game as a "legend" pick by commissioner Rob Manfred. It's certainly an accurate descriptor of the Los Angeles Dodgers' lefty legend who recently reached 3,000 career strikeouts. It also has him serving as a sort of unofficial elder statesman at the All-Star proceedings.
But the Dodgers have to be pleased with franchise icon Clayton Kershaw, who has returned from the injured list to make 10 starts so far this year with an effective 3.38 ERA at age 37. However, it could be Kershaw's final season with the team.
