Superman Returns' star Brandon Routh said that he "really enjoyed" watching James Gunn and David Corenswet's new movie 'Superman,' the second time that Warner Bros. has rebooted the character since Routh played him once on the big screen in the 2006 blockbuster.

When James Gunn's "Superman" was released earlier this month, former Man of Steel Brandon Routh cheered its arrival on Instagram. A July 12 post featuring a trailer for the movie was accompanied by Routh’s message,

Routh is starring in an upcoming movie called Ick, in which he plays a teacher named Hank who reconnects with a past love, Staci (Mena Suvari), as an alien named the Ick is invading the town. The actor noted that there are many layers to the Ick, and that he looks forward to hearing how fans unpack the film.
