A Spirit Airlines flight at Detroit Metro was evacuated Thursday after a Michigan man allegedly called in a bomb threat that prompted K-9 searches and passenger rescreening.

Robinson then allegedly called in a bomb threat for his missed flight in a misguided attempt at revenge at 6:45 a.m., even going so far as to invent a bomber and giving authorities a detailed description of what he looked like, according to prosecutors.

A Michigan man has been arrested after missing his flight to Los Angeles and calling in a fake bomb threat after being made to book another flight, officials said.

Oakland University police on Tuesday are warning the public of a reported bomb threat at Beaumont Health Troy. Police advise any university students, faculty and staff to evacuate. "Any other campus community members planning to go to the facility are advised to avoid the area until further notice," the university said.

Anthony Beardall of Provo was charged for threatening to bomb the Provo Missionary Training Center more than a month earlier.
