Michigan State hockey has continued to break records during its rise to the top of the sport. The Spartans made history again after sweeping the regular season and tournament titles for a second consecutive season.

With the Purdue Boilermakers' 76-62 win over the McNeese State Cowboys, Big Ten teams officially have gone 9-0 in the tournament thus far, No conference has ever gone 9-0 to start the tournament thus far. There is a chance that the conference can better that mark over the next few hours as well.

Isaac Howard scored the game-winning goal with 4:51 let in the second overtime to lift the Spartans to back-to-back Big Ten tournament titles.
